One of the greatest stayers this country has seen in recent years is Mantra Lad (Pure Octane-Al Fresco). He is, of course, a half brother to Mantra Style but bred on a similar cross with Malfoy and Pure Octane both being sired by Token Prince.
Mantra Lad’s pedigree shows an intense link between the litter sistersParis Match andPilgrim’s Star (Brother Fox-Osti’s Shadow).
So when it came time for Mantra style to be mated again, we decided champion stud dog Where’s Pedro (Brett Lee-Elusive Rebel) just had to be our choice. He’s been something else at stud with champion after champion.
By putting Mantra Style to Where’s Pedro the pedigree we create will bring in a 4x4 cross of the litter sisters, track record breakers and fabulous producers Paris Match and Pilgrim’s Star. Where’s Pedro also carries Gun Law Osti as his grandsire and he too is bred along identical lines to both Paris Match and Pilgrim’s Star.
Mantra Style is heavily line bred to the three-quarter sisters Miss Cruise and Prize Dancer. This is the champion Spanish Dance family. Her mating to Where’s Pedro allows the potency of Miss Cruise and Prize Dancer combined in the pedigree of Mantra Style to come through and also allows Paris Match and Pilgrim’s Star to impact upon the offspring as well. |

| Bitch: Rumble Duchess Sire: Collision Back in 2009, legendary Australian greyhound breeder Steve Kavanagh mated his imported bitch Rumble Ciarrai to his champion stud dog Collision. Steve had bought Rumble Ciarrai from Ireland after a year-long training stint in that country. She is from the famed damline that produced champions Tina Marina and Spiral Nikita.
From the Collision-Rumble Ciarrai, Steve produced the sensational sprinter Rumble Impact who set The Meadows and Sandown alight with scorching times. At the end of his career, he was exported by Steve to stand stud duties in Ireland where he has been a great success.
Jackson Racing & Breeding Kennels was fortunate enough to be able to obtain the former smart race bitchRumble Duchess (Where’s Pedro-Rumble Ciarrai) and we have great hopes for her at stud.
One of the first matings we did with Rumble Duchess just had to be to champion sire Collision.
It would replicate the mating that produced Rumble Impact the sensational galloper and now stud success.
What this mating does is introduce a very strong 2x3 cross of Rumble Spirit (dam of Collision) with her half brother Smooth Rumble (sire of Rumble Ciarrai). It worked to produceRumble Impact and at Jackson Racing & Breeding Kennels we are confident it will work with Collision-Rumble Duchess.
Follow Through, dam of both Rumble Spirit and Smooth Rumble, is one of the true gems of Australian greyhound breeding.
There are many other powerful aspects to this mating, line strong line breeding in an important position to daughters of champion Brother Fox, as well as a balance of the great sires New Tears and Eaglehawk Star.

| Bitch: Another Request Sire: Premier Fantasy Whelping Date: 22 Mar 2012 7 Dogs + 3 Bitches
Another Request was second in the Ipswich Futurity and third to Dashing Corsair and her litter brother High Earner in the Qld final of the National Sprint (Dashing Corsair would go on to win the grand final). She won in a flying 30.51 at Ipswich and 30.10 at Albion Park and 30.47 at Cranbourne. She stretched her speed to a middle distance to win at Albion Park in 35.15 and Sandown in 34.70.
Former high class race bitch Another Request, a little sister to the champion sprinter and multiple Group 1 winner High Earner, possesses a heavily line bred pedigree.
She is line bred to 3x3 to former champion sprinter and siring legend Malawi’s Prince who is a fantastic speed influence. Both High Earner and Another Request had speed to burn as was shown by their great racetrack success. When it came to mating Another Request in her stud career, we had great options. Our first mating with her was to legend Brett lee.
Now for her second mating, we have gone for an outcross influence, the champion Irish galloper Premier Fantasy who was Irish greyhound of the year, a Group 1 winner, and Shelbourne Park track record breaker. Premier fantasy was odds-on favourite to win the English Derby but smashed his hock in the semi-final.
He was retrained to stud to become a great sire, especially in Australia.
Putting Another Request to Premier Fantasy will not only allow the heavy line breeding found in her own pedigree to come through to impact the resultant offspring, but it will also give the mating some common and dominant ancestors.
Another Request carries a cross of the great speed influence Curryhill Brute along her tail female line.Premier Fantasy has as his fourth sire Skelligs Tiger who just happens to be a litter brother to Curryhill Brute. But the dominant ancestor link doesn’t end here.
Premier Fantasy also has a Daley’s Gold in his damline. Daley’s Gold, Skelligs Tiger and Curryhill Brute are all bred identically. It is the famous Skipping Chick female family and this family is always seen at its best when heavily reinforced within a pedigree.

From two starts she was a winner at sandown 30.27 beating champion +stud dog Dyan Lachlan.We believe this bitch is well suited to a mating to champion sire Collision.
Collision (Awesome Assassin-Rumble Spitit by Malawi's Prince) is suited because this bitch's damline has done exceptionally well when mated to him.
The recently retired champion sprinter High Earner is by Collision-Double Guess by Wild Season. High Earner's dam double Guess is out of Roxy Reason, a litter sister to Roshanna Reason, the second dam of Perfect Model and Next Top Model.
This mating brings in the high speed duplication of Malawi's Prince 3x4 through two daughters. Malawi's Prince duplicated can be a great recipe for speed within a pedigree. Last year's Melbourne Cup winner Lord Ducal is also bred on this theme.
We believe Surf Lorian bitches are ideal to be mated to Collision because Surf Lorian carries many male crosses of Brother Fox within his pedigree and these need to be sex balanced by the daughter strain of Brother Fox in Collision's tail female line.
New Tears is a dominant ancestor within the pedigree of Perfect Model and the fact Collision carries a son strain in his sireline is another excellent balance to this mating.
There is a very smart race dog in Victoria called Rev Limiter who is by Collision out of a daughter of Surf Lorian. He is a multiple city winner and started favourite for the Group 1 Silver Chief at The Meadows early in the year 2011. |

The perfect option for the bitch is the champion NSW based stud dog Collision (Awesome Assassin-Rumble Spirit by Malawi's Prince). He is an outstanding sire of Group quality race doge, including High Earner, Hanify's Impact, Dana Beatrice and of course the latest boom Queensland sprinter Aliwishus Jones.
Chloe Siyan carries three SON strains of Brother Fox and for her to be able to be a successful producer, she will need to mate a stud dog that carries a DAUGHTER strain of Brother Fox to sex balance him in the resultant pedigree of their offspring.
Collision has the Brother Fox bitchFollow Through as his second dam in a position to easily impact the mating.
Chloe Siyan's dominant ancestor in her pedigree is New Tears who comes along the alternate sex path. It is ideal for New Tears to be duplicated in the pedigree of Chloe Siyan's offspring. Collision has New Tears as his third sire coming through his son Light of Fire. This will duplicate New Tears 4x4 and sex balance him as well.
Add to that, this mating will bring in a 4x5 cross ofMalawi (through his son Malawi's Prince) and his litter brother Buka Sunset (through his daughter My Lady Leanne). Combining Malawi and Buka Sunset within a pedigree can have a huge impact.
Champion race dog and now leading sire Bombastic Shiraz is bred on this nick.
And to add to that, Chloe Siyan has a cross of Shining Chariot in her tail female line. This links directly to the cross of his full sister Centrefire (Chariot Supreme-Shining Light) in the sireline of Collision. We also point out that Collision has a cross of Bowetzel, a half brother to Shining Light, the dam of both Centrefire and Shining Chariot. It is also interesting that Centrefire comes through a SON (Light of Fire) and Shining Chariot through a DAUGHTER (Leprechaun Miss).
An added bonus to thsi mating is the fact when Chloe Jones, dam of Chloe Siyan, was mated to Awesome Assassin (sire of Collision), she produced the Group performer Leprechaun Kate winner of the Group 2 WA Oaks.
And to top off all of this is the fact current boom Queensland sprinter Aliwishus Jones is a son of Collision from Lankan Hope and she is a sister to Chloe Siyan. Lankan Hope too was unraced.

Shelbourne Dawn really was an outstanding race bitch. She was an Irish Oaks finalist, was third in the Group 2 Newbridge Oaks and third in the Group 1 Tipperary Cup. In all she won 20 races.
Shelbourne Dawn was an outstanding race bitch in Ireland and is from one of the best female families to have been seen in Ireland.
Queen Survivor family is one of the greatest in the world. Borna Survivor, a sister to Queen Survivor, won the Group 1 Irish Oaks.
Their dam Cool Survivor won the Irish Oaks in 1995.
Cools Survivor's dam Gunboat Ann was sister to Super Gem who was third in 1991 Irish Derby.
Of the mating between Where’s Pedro and Shelbourne Dawn (which is her first) it is an excellent cross, even though it may appear to be almost a total outcross the Australian stud dog over an Irish bitch.
Queen Survivor was mated to Brett Lee (sire of Where’s Pedro) and she produced three individual Group performers including the multiple of Group 1 finalist Shelbourne Laura so this indicates a cross of a daughter of Queen Survivor to a son of Brett Lee has a strong chance of succeeding.
BUT the greatest plus in this mating’s favour is the fact that Shelbourne Dora (a little sister the Shelbourne Dawn) has already mated to Where’s Pedro and produced Shelbourne Geoff who was third in the Group 1 Irish St Leger in July 2011. He has also been placed in two other Group finals. Rookery Pedro is a little brother to Shelbourne Geoff and in September 2011 he was third in the Group 1 East Anglian Derby in England, one of the feature races in the English greyhound year.

Lightly raced bitch who won at The Meadows in 34.58. She is already a proven city producing dam with such smart gallopers as Barrabas (2nd Nestor Memorial), Wheely Smart (Wentworth Park 30.16), Stoked (Meadows and Sandown winner).
When it came to mate Wheely Wapped, the Victorian city wining bitch who is royally bred bySpiral Nikita-Leprechaun Yap, it was only natural we put her to one of the great sires in Australia Where's Pedro.
It is always said, to be successful, stick with what works.
At Jackson Racing & Breeding Kennels we always endeavour to do this. Our breeding program rests on successful nicks and crosses.
The cross was a natural. Brett Lee (sire of Where's Pedro) when mated to Leprechaun Yap (dam of Wheely Wapped) produced champion Betty's Angel, the Australian greyhound of the year, and her champion sisters Miss Mini Mouse and Leprechaun Pace.
Wheely Wapped had already been mated to Brett Lee and from the mating came Group performersBarabas, Wheely Smart and the multiple Melbourne city winner Stoked, and the winners West On Wendy and All Parcelled Up.
So why wouldn't we want to continue the same theme.
Wheely Wapped is a sister to the dam of sensation sprinter Magic Sprite (also by Brett Lee) so the cross continues to be proven.
Putting Wheely Wapped to Where's Pedro continues the proven nick between Wee Sal (second dam of Brett Lee) and Shining Chariot who is in-bred in the pedigree of Leprechaun Yap.
The champions Trewly Special, Trew Millions etc etc etc are all bred on this “nick”.
Where's Pedro-Wheely Wapped also brings in a close cross of Farloe Melody and Curryhills Fox who both carry the blood of legend broodbitch Skipping Chick.

JACKSON Racing & Breeding Kennels is always on the lookout for the best quality bloodlines we can find.
So when we had the opportunity to buy ASTON ADITI (Pure Octane-Cheeky Sprite) we jumped at the chance. She is a three-quarter sister to champion Queen Lauryn a daughter of Pure Octane’s sire Token Prince and her dam the former Group winner and now broodbitch legend Cheeky Sprite.
The fact ASTON ADITI had already won at Sandown was a bonus and she later became an Albion Park winner as well. She was a flying machine.
When it came time to mate her, we went with a proven recipe and put her to Surf Lorian.
Cheeky Sprite had already whelped a litter to champion sire Surf Lorian and it produced the Group 3 Big Dog Cup winner Santino Marella who became one of the best middle distance gallopers in the country during his race career. She could sprint and stay.
Also in the litter was Dolly Sprite who also became a middle distance star. You can understand why we decided Aston Aditi was perfectly suited to go to Surf Lorian.
The mating gives us a very strong cross to Amerigo Man and his brother West Cape, reinforcing the best attributes of both sire and dam. It also brings in a balance to Chariot Supreme, a common theme in the best of Surf Lorian’s progeny.
This is fast becoming one of the truly great damlines in Australia. We have confidence in ASTON ADITI becoming yet another successful broodbitch from this line.

With all this in mind, when it came to mate Rebel Siyan, a daughter of champion Irish sprinter and sire Spiral Nikita, we believed champion Irish sprinter and sire Premier Fantasy was ideal for her.
The many successful crosses it provides are numerous and we look forward to the pups from this mating.
Premier Fantasy, himself, is line bred to Skelligs Tiger and his genetic brother Daleys Gold both dogs coming from the legend broodbitchSkipping Chick. He also carries two crosses of the famed “Millie” damline that has also been so dominant in Ireland and England.
Spiral Nikita’s damsire is Curryhills Fox who is a litter brother to Skelligs Tiger, and a genetic brother to Daleys Gold … both of who are found in Premier Fantasy. This is a very potent mix.
Farloe Melody, who is found in the pedigree of Elusive Rebel, is yet another from the Skipping Chick damline.
This mixture of blood has been hugely successful in the past. The English greyhound of the year Fear Zafonic is bred on this cross and so is the English Derby winner Bandicoot Tipoki.

ANOTHER REQUEST (Collision-Double Guess) - A high class race bitch from on of the country's best female lines. Another Request won at Albion Park 30.10, 35.15, Sandown 34.70.11 wins, 12 placings.
Another Request a litter sister to champion High Earner twice winner of Group 1 Perth Cup, Group 1 The Temlee, Group 2 vince Curry Maiden, Group 2 Qld Derby, Group 2 WA Derby.
Her dam Double Guess won the time-honoured Eric Thomson Maiden at the Gold Coast. Second dam Roxy Reason won the WA Oaks.
Her mating to Brett Lee (Gun Law Osti-Sobbing Sal by New Tears) was the obvious choice as a mate for this bitch.
Brett Lee contains only one cross of Brother Fox in his pedigree, and that comes via his son Gun Law Osti. New Tears is a very important ancestor within the pedigree of Brett Lee and the fact he comes via a daughter in Brett Lee and is then reinforced in the pedigree of Another Request via a son is a great balancing impact.
The position of Brother Fox and New Tears in the pedigree of Another Request AROUND the duplication of Malawi's Prince is excellent as well.

Jackson Racing and Breeding Kennels has a litter of pups just whelped by Collision from the unraced Chloe Siyan and if pedigree is anything to go by they could be record breakers on the racetrack.
That is because this litter is bred on the exact mating that produced record breaking Albion Park sprinter Aliwishus Jones the son of Collision-Lankan Hope who ran a class record 29.72 around Albion Park. Lankan Hope and Chloe Siyan are sisters being by Brett Lee-Chole Jones and of course are sisters to the numerous champions from the multiple matings off Brett Lee andChloe Jones.
The champions Trewly Special, Trew Millions, Borat, Go Forever, Tow Up Larry, Fergalicious, Leprechaun Kate and Trew Sensation are all out of Chloe Jones.

The latest litter whelped by Jackson Racing and Breeding Kennels is by the legend of legends, the famousBrett Lee himself, the sprint champion who has become the wonder dog of the stud scene the world over.
Dam of this litter is Rumble Amour (Spiral Nikita-Rumble Spirit)
This bitch was a quality race bitch winning six of the 21 starts and placed 10 times. She ran 35.37 at Albion Park where she was a finalist in the Byrne Memorial. She ran 38.22 at the Gold Coast and a scorching 29.26 (near track rec) at Tweed.
Rumble Amour and her outstanding litter sister Rumble Charm were bred specifically by Steve Kavanagh, one of the world's great greyhound breeders, as potential broodbitches. They are bred on a similar cross to that of Steve's Group 1 Golden Easter Egg winner Cosmic Rumble (by Spiral Nikita out of Rumble Amour's half sister Spiritual Rumble).
Rumble Amour is a half sister to Wentworth Park track record breaker, Group winner and now champion sire Collision. She is also a half sister to top sire Collide and the Irish stud success Ace Hi Rumble.
The mating that is Brett Lee-Rumble Amour is one of the great emerging “nicks” in greyhound racing.
The sensational Magic Sprite, a hugely popular young sire, is bred on this cross. The star English galloper Geordie Parker is by Brett Lee from a Spiral Nikita bitch as well.
Rumble Amour is a proven producer.
She is the dam of the smart Victorian galloper Barry Blowout (6 wins 7 placings. Sandown 29.95 (M), 29.75 and Meadows 30.40, Geelong and Ballarat), Rumble Dynamo (four wins and four placings), Rumble Hero (4 wins Albion Park 30.21) and the Pop Northfield Maiden finalist Rumble Seeker.
This is a repeat mating of Rumble Amour to Brett Lee.
